Denka TX Polymer is the product of copolymerisation of Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) and Styrene Monomer (SM), developed using Denka's proprietary technology. Designed for exceptional transparency and optical clarity, it offers properties comparable to Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) while maintaining a lightweight structure.
Features of DENKA TX Polymer
✔ Easy processability - Higher flowability and hence lower energy consumption compared to PMMA
✔ High yield of products - Lower density of approximately 5% lower than PMMA, allowing cost savings
✔ High dimensional stability - Approximately 3 times lower moisture absorption, resulting in lower deformation rate and warp
